I recommend.
We took a pitch for 4, we were able to set up 2 tents and park 2 cars, easy to book and not very far from the entrance.
- BIG +: a small private mobile home allocated to you with your pitch, no showers or public toilets, you just have to cross the road, it has a shower and toilets as well as a fridge, a plan of work and storage.
Practical and comfortable.
We sleep well, no noise at night.
Activities :
You have the Bambouseraies des Cévennes 20 minutes by car, which is worth doing, very beautiful and relaxing.
From the campsite you have direct access to the Le Gardon de Mialet river, something to enjoy in summer, you have a flat and shallow part at the entrance then going up you have a place with rocks and quite deep places this which entertains children to jump, or slide in the current which forms between the rocks.
Little tips: If you go up again (there is a little current and
it's more slippery but doable) you will arrive at an elbow of
the river which forms a kind of shallow basin with
little power, and when we were there, no one was going
until then, it was ideal for being quiet and
to rest.
You also have a bingo and blindtest evening with prizes to be won, including wine, food, discounts, etc...
There is also a pool party.
The staff is welcoming and kind, we also ate at the campsite restaurant, it was good.
We were able to keep busy, and for a first camping experience I really liked it, I was afraid of the "proximity with people" aspect but ultimately nothing forced us to do it and we felt at home there. I feel comfortable and it makes me want to reach out to others.
Value for money, really good, I have since been able to go to another campsite and I highly recommend this one.
We had a great stay. Super clean, family campsite with an attentive and caring team. The children had a blast and they are safe. Regarding our top dog.
A wonderful campsite where life is good!
We had an excellent stay there.
After a somewhat laborious arrival since you have to go over the bridge (so be careful if you have a large caravan or a large camper van), we had the joy of discovering our huge, quiet pitch at the end of the campsite.
Private bathrooms are also an undeniable advantage.
The swimming pool is extremely pleasant, in its green setting and the snack area is very pretty and friendly (the cheese pizza is very good and the quantities are generous).
There is never a dull moment at Berge Fleurie: swimming pool, river, water slide (which our children had the privilege of inaugurating) or even departures for other points of interest (Mont Aigoual, Saint-Jean-du- Gard, Bambouseraie, etc.): everything is there!
The only downside to our stay was the organization of the children's club, despite the kindness of the host.
We participated in the karaoke evening: very nice and a first for us!
As I read in another review, the campsite is indeed occupied by many regulars (this shows that we want to come back, moreover...) but they are not wild!!
People greet each other and help each other. We noticed this on two occasions: when we were looking for our son who had gone to play in a neighbor's mobile home without warning us (a huge thank you, among others, to the manager whose attitude was wonderful, and to the little lady from number 108, it seems to me) and when we unhitched the caravan to cross the bridge to leave: at least 5 or 6 people spontaneously offered their help!
In short, a family campsite as we like them... Only regret: not being able to stay a few more days because we had already booked elsewhere.
I forgot: dogs are welcome at this campsite!
So just THANK YOU and good luck!
We have been spending incredible holidays for two years at this campsite nestled in the heart of the Cévennes with direct access to the Gardon. The campsite is very well maintained, clean, quiet, the reception and catering staff are smiling and attentive to the well-being of holidaymakers. The swimming pool is clean and very well maintained (which is not always the case)...two small downsides this year however which explains my 4 stars
- a great lack of parasols around the swimming pool
- leaders for young people who should have moved on. How can you lead a group of children while being glued to your cell phone all day long, how can you host a pétanque competition without ever getting up from your bench and what can we say about the show so awaited by the children at the end of their stay during which the two animators didn't even bother to get up and participate with them!!!! I am sorry for the owners of the campsite who obviously made a casting error
Incredible places to relax!
We camped as a group of 5, two adults and 3 children with a dog and everything was perfect 😁 the equipment, the private toilets, the campsite park, the facilities for children and the welcome are impeccable, even our 4-legged friends are very well received!! Your teams are pleasant and helpful!!
We will come back for sure!!
We are delighted with our little stay, thank you very much!!!!
